RESS Financial Corporation is an independent foreclosure Trustee which has handled non-judicial foreclosures (Trustee’s Sales) within the State of California since 1988. We specialize in unusual situations, as well as dealing with private investors, attorneys and small to medium size mortgage companies. We also act as Agent for existing Trustees. Our staff is knowledgeable, experienced, and courteous. We have well over 60 years of combined experience in foreclosure, title, and loan servicing.

RESS Financial Corporation strives to make sure that all documents—from the Notice of Default through the final Trustee’s Deed—are recorded as quickly and accurately as possible. We know that time is money to a lender.

RESS Financial Corporation strives to keep its Trustee fees and related costs at a reasonable level. Our Trustee fees at Trustee’s Sale are below the maximums set forth in California Civil Code for principal balances exceeding $43,000.00. The higher the unpaid principal, the more substantial the savings!

Where the Name Came From

The first question we are usually asked is where the name RESS Financial Corporation came from. It is not, as many people surmise, the name of the company owner! Way back in the late 1970s, a company was formed under the name of Real Estate Securities Service to act as an independent foreclosure Trustee. Over the years, the customers of that company chose an easier route and called it RESS (generally spoken as 4 separate letters).

In January of 1982, Bruce Beasley went to work for Real Estate Securities Service. In 1988, the owners of that company decided they would change the focus of their business to deal with Homeowner Association Liens. Bruce was generously given the opportunity to purchase the hard assets of the old company and take over the client base to process non-judicial Trustee’s Sale proceedings under Deeds of Trust. Since everyone called the existing company RESS, the RESS Financial Corporation name was chosen for the new company and incorporated in April 1988.

Location

RESS Financial Corporation is a privately held and controlled company.  Our office is located in Norco, CA, directly across from the Norco Post Office.  Norco is north of Corona and west of Riverside. Often we are asked “Why Norco?”  Norco is located nearly equidistant between the County Recorder’s offices for Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino, with Los Angeles only a few miles further. This ensures that you get the fastest service possible, and makes it very convenient for messenger services and for those needing to come into the office from most parts of Southern California.
